Alan Clark

IT Leadership was formed in 2004 by Denise Fellows and Ruth Perkins, with Alan Clark joining them in 2006. They recognised that in smaller organisations there was not the background and knowledge to lead IT. They formed IT Leadership to provide access to a network of associates with years of experience from working together in IT and Management within various blue-chip companies. IT Leadership brings together professionals who work together because they trust each other, like each other and share the same values. They share their skills and insight with small and medium enterprises and not-for-profit organisations in order that they can help to improve their IT leadership.

The aim is to work with business and IT leaders to establish credible IT strategies, plans and architectures as well as executing or coaching on program and project management. This is achieved utilising a set of in-house developed standard processes and training materials that can be tailored to meet the clients’ needs.

In May 2007, Alan Clark bought the intellectual property and trading name of IT Leadership. He is now the primary contact for the organisation and brings together other associates to meet the needs of the work being undertaken.  Alan has 20 years of experience in IT. His most recent employment, before joining IT Leadership, was as a senior leader of a worldwide IT organisation at Hewlett Packard (HP). Alan is now looking to build the IT Leadership business further, by providing additional services including IT Business Continuity planning and IT Due Diligence
